PMO & EPMO Success

Facilitated by Bill Stewart, a pioneer in the PMO/EPMO concept, students will learn how to successfully implement a program office. Topics will include: establishing the PMO charter, developing the PMO’s Work Breakdown Structure, roles and responsibilities, proven techniques to implement a layer of project management process across the organization, development of a detailed implementation plan/schedule and creation of a program office PR plan to avoid the perception of “overhead” and highlight achievement.

Too often, formal risks assessments are not performed on projects with disastrous results. This course was designed to teach students effective techniques for risk identification, assessment, prioritization and risk response planning. Emphasis is placed on conducting formal risk assessments with the entire project team. Students will learn how to take the risk out of their projects before they become issues.
