SUMMARY:Project Management for Success - 24 PDUs
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThis comprehensive three-day project management virtual workshop will provide you with hands-on experience and skills in successfully leading projects.  You will learn efficient and effective techniques for team building\, planning and controlling any type of project.  Throughout the workshop\, you will apply what you learn to a realistic and challenging project.   Topics covered in this exciting program include: \n\nSuccessfully facilitating planning and team building sessions\nApplying the Work Breakdown Structure approach to planning and estimating\nPreparing and introducing the Communication Plan\nConducting stakeholder assessments\nFacilitating risk identification sessions\nPreparing and controlling project schedules\nManaging scope\nCapturing and reporting status\nClosing out projects\n\nDay 1: The focus is on proper project initiation and planning.  You will  learn how to quickly identify the vision\, need and objectives of the project. You will prepare a high level project charter\, communication plan\, and high level WBS \nDay 2: You  will learn how to facilitate planning workshops; develop a detailed WBS and bottom up estimate; and conduct successful risk and stockholder assessments \nDay 3: You will learn how to translate deliverables from the WBS into an accurate project schedule;  how to track and control your project and successfully close it out \nThroughout the workshop\, you will be presented with realistic project leadership scenarios that will strengthen your skills and provide you with the confidence to immediately begin applying what you have learned to your own projects.
