Project Management Leadership Boot Camp – 24 PDUs

This experiential-based three-day project management and leadership virtual workshop will provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to successfully leading projects.  In an immersive project environment, you will learn how to build strong project teams and plan and execute with leadership agility. Throughout the workshop, you will have the opportunity to apply what you learn to a realistic and fun project.   Topics covered in this exciting program include:

• Successfully facilitating planning and team building sessions
• Applying the Work Breakdown Structure approach to planning and estimating
• Preparing and introducing the Communication Plan
• Conducting stakeholder assessments
• Facilitating risk identification sessions
• Preparing and controlling project schedules
• Managing scope
• Capturing and reporting status
• Closing out projects

Day 1: The focus is on proper project initiation and planning.  You will  learn how to quickly identify the vision, need and objectives of the project. You will prepare a high level project charter, communication plan, and high level WBSDay 2: You  will learn how to facilitate planning workshops; develop a detailed WBS and bottom up estimate; and conduct successful risk and stockholder assessmentsDay 3: You will learn how to translate deliverables from the WBS into an accurate project schedule;  how to track and control your project and successfully close it outThroughout the workshop, you will be presented with realistic project leadership scenarios that will strengthen your skills and provide you with the confidence to immediately begin applying what you have learned to your own projects.
