Bill Stewart – Founder and CEO


An entrepreneur and project, program and portfolio management thought-leader, Bill has over 40 years of successful leadership experience across a wide range of industries and initiatives. As an Infantry Officer, Ranger and Aviator, Bill developed dynamic experiential-based leadership training programs and tactics, many which are still in use today. After leaving the service, he served as a program manager for President Reagan on the Private Sector Survey on Cost Control.

Bill was an architect of the Program Office concept and has led successful implementations across dozens of Fortune 100 corporations and public sector organizations. He regularly mentors executives in how to rapidly transform their businesses to a culture of Strategic Execution Excellence. He is also the father of experiential-based project and program leadership training. Bill created the world’s only experiential-based project leadership training and certification program, the Certified Project Manager Leadership Boot Camp (CPM). He also created two advanced certifications, the Program Management Mastery (PMM) and the Program and Portfolio Management Certification (PPMC)®. Bill also created International Program Office Summit and the concept of the Strategic Execution Office.

Bill’s interviews and articles have appeared in such periodicals as CEO and CIO magazines. He has also appeared as a project management and leadership expert on several televised programs, including the World Business Review, hosted by the late Norman Schwarzkopf and the Next Wave, hosted by Leonard Nimoy. Bill is a dynamic and entertaining speaker, delivering encore presentations at PMI Global, Gartner ITxpo, and other professional organizations.
