1 Day Experiential-based Workshop
This exciting hands-on workshop provides project team members with an understanding of their role in supporting the strategic success of their organization. They participate in a realistic project simulation as they apply practical and proven techniques for planning and managing projects. Working in project planning workshop, they develop a project charter, a detailed work breakdown structure and assign ownership through a responsibility matrix. We demonstrate how deliverables are translated into project schedules. Students will track actuals and estimates to complete into Clarity and then see a demonstration on how the project manager uses the resting information to replan their project to get it back on track.
They also learn how to proactively identify risks and issues and how to escalate the information to their project managers. Throughout the training we use team exercises to reinforce learning points and to foster teamwork skills.
Students leave this workshop with an understanding and appreciation for project management and with skills, tools and techniques that will help them be more productive and effective as project team members.
